Among the very blessed!

Happy Mother's Day!  I'm surrounded my amazing mothers...I'm thankful for that.  Mine in particular is of great importance to me.  She's everything I ever needed...she's my friend but firm when she needs to be, she's kind and caring when I'm sad, she excited and happy when things are going good...she is my ROCK!  LOVE that woman!

I had a the most wonderful week this past week...personally.  Professionally is a different story.  My job has been weighing heavily on me lately.  I have got to find the right balance of caring and...well, not caring.  I'm overwhelmed emotionally...but I'm praying about it :)

I had dinner one evening with Mrs. Carolyn Taylor.  She is a lovely woman...very giving of her time to take care of her parents...she has turned out to be a very dear friend to me!  We had a wonderful dinner and a great talk.

Wednesday evening was spent at my church with all of my favorite ladies...especially Lucy Moore, Allison and Adrienne Czyzewski, Meredith and baby boy Dougherty and my mom! What an evening...we laughed, hugged, cried...it was great!  What every function involving only women should consist of ;)

Thursday and Friday evenings were spent at the park.  To watch our children run, climb and play is the most wonderful sight!  They are beautiful!

Yesterday we spent the whole day celebrating the start of a beautiful marriage!  My cousin Jordan and her fiance Dan DeWerff were married on the most beautiful spring day!  She was STUNNING...(I knew she would be) and he is the one of the sweetest men I've ever met.  We went to their reception at the Firefly Grill in Effingham and our kiddos had a blast feeding the fish and running in the breeze.  It was a wonderful day!

The beautiful bride and I!
The beautiful Maid of Honor
Jordan's beautiful Aunt's and my cousins...Susan, Melissa and Lori (aren't they gorgeous?!)
Our Sweet Nysilla...she is growing up way too fast!
TWO of my loves!
My dad and my boy!  Two peas in a pod!
Erica and I
My boys!
OK..so this is as good as it gets...Lucy has her mouth open...Will isn't ready...it's just he way it is!  Still I had to say we DO have a pretty good looking family!
huh...she looks a bit evil here...how can that be?!

Today we had the opportunity to see our two favorite ladies...Julie Moore and Susan Allison.  These two women blow me away.  I love them both beyond words.  I thank God for them every day.  This morning we had brunch at Cracker Barrel with Julie and Kevin, Stephen, Stephanie, Maddie, Charlie, Sarah, Michael and our family...MOORE, PARTY of 12!  After brunch we worked off some of our pancakes at the park my Stephanie and Stephen's house.  I love that little park!  This evening we grilled out at my Mom and Dad's.  My Dad make pork loin and my Mom made her potato salad...she makes the best potato salad. :)  After dinner we...went to the PARK again!  Allison, Ben, Lucy and Will had a blast running and jumping...sliding and swinging.  It was such a beautiful weekend!  WE are so very blessed.

My Bob and I...yes I said Bob...I'll tell the story sometime.

ON that note...I am so very excited to tell about Lucy!  I had entered her in a contest about Blessings.  She is such a huge blessing in our lives.  Jason and Aurelia Stratton decided to give Lucy an opportunity to be blessed yet again.  I am almost obsessed about documenting this time in our lives.  Things just seem SO great and I don't want to ever forget.  I have promised myself not to take one single day for granted.  J + A are going to photograph Lucy...they have offered a free session AND a free metal print!  They are so very generous and we are beyond thankful!  We can't wait!
