The next few pictures are from an afternoon we spent playing in a fort we made in the living room. Lucy's Aunt Sarah made her a fort one time and now she ALWAYS wants to build a fort. The only problem is their mom stinks at making forts. Below is my very best effort...they seemed to enjoy it but the next Saturday Tyler has off I'm going to have him teach me how to make a good one.

Trick or Treat w/ Dorothy, the Lion & Woody
Trick or Treat 2010 went off without a hitch! Only a few crying spells and one tired cowboy but other than that things went wonderfully! Maddie and Stephanie came down from Effingham to Trick or Treat with us...Maddie was a lion this year which worked out great because Lucy was Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz (I'm telling you what she's from because when I told my Dad Lu was going to be Dorothy he said...Oh Dorothy huh?...Dorothy who?!) Anyhoo...see pics below!

Both of our kids love music. Lucy is a crazy dancer and Will is my foot stomper! We love to turn up the music and just DANCE!!!

best way to make a fort is to drape a flat bedsheet over the kitchen table. works for us anyway. we like to call them caves also.
