It's a miracle...

OK...we have an announcement...wait for it...wait...

....

.........................

Lucy is ..........

COMPLETELY potty trained!!!! (see picture below)...sure she's going to hate me for blogging to the world the first picture of her peeing on the pot... but come on now it's something to CELEBRATE!!! I am SO thrilled!

After weeks and weeks of talking about "going on the big girl potty" it was actually the purchase of some $1.99 stickers and a piece of computer paper that did the trick. That kid sure does love putting up a sticker and counting up all of her successes! I could not be more proud of her. She and Will continue to amaze me each and every day.

We had some sticks to burn...so last week on one of the amazing fall nights we've had Tyler, Lucy and I lit them up! (Will was sleeping of course) We got some marshmallows and Lucy roasted her first marshmallow. She wasn't sure what to think of them at first but in the end she REALLY enjoyed eating them. (NOTE: Rue dog is in the background there with the scary eyes...she really is a good dog not an evil devil dog like she appears in this picture :)

I had to add this picture. I am in the slow process of transforming Lucy's room from a baby room to a Big Girl Room...you know "like a big girl that goes on the pot, right mom?!" Anyway, tonight I opened the new bedding I got for her room. This is NOT the bedding I really wanted but it is silly to spend an arm and leg on bedding that she will most likely color on...right?! (well, in all honestly, I did think it would be fine...BUT Tyler came up with the whole coloring scenario and I guess he's right...AND he controls the dough :)
SO this bedding (the WHOLE set was on clearance at Wal-Mart for a whopping $35.00) will work perfectly!!! AND Will seems to like it too so we may just pass it down...we'll see :)

Tyler, Lucy and I - September 2010

William Alexander is growing at record speed. He is walking everywhere, talking WAY more than I expected at this age and has a FULL set of chompers that will take your finger off if you get it too close! Below are some pictures of our beautiful boy...he sure is on the go so most of my shots are "action" shots.

I can't get enough of this boy :)

Looking pretty smooth with his popped collar, unbuttoned shirt and...no pants. Cool dude!
Free as a bird...

Cheeeeezzzzzeee!!!!

Huh?!...I said cheeezzzeeee...

Tyler and I would have celebrated out 10 year dating anniversary on October 29 if we hadn't gotten married four years ago...for some silly reason it's hard for us to let that date go by without celebrating :) I love him more each day...he is my everything.

It's hard to believe 10 years have gone by...so much has changed since our young high school days but it sure has been a wonderful adventure.
