We were married December 30th 2006 in the most beautiful wedding ceremony there ever was.
In January 2007 Tyler was offered a job with corporate NAL in Paris, Illinois.
We bought our first home in Marshall, Illinois in February 2007 after falling in LOVE with it the second we walked in. Thinking back it really wasn't that much to look at but it sure felt like home to us! We moved up there and I found a job at a bank in Paris...we started making friends...really started to settle just when he was transferred back to Flora NAL with a new position. I believe we got the news about the move in August 2007...which was also the time we got the news that we were expecting a baby! HOLY COW! I was EXCITED...and really afraid!
We moved back to Flora and in with my parents in October of 2007...and that is were we stayed until we made our second home purchase in January of 2008.
Lucy Addison arrived on the scene March 27th 2008 around 11:30 p.m. and that REALLY changed our lives! Things were pretty calm until about this time last year. The second week of December 2008 I got really sick. My dad was ill and in the hospital and I was sure I needed a bed right next to him...he kept telling me it was twin boys...I kept reminding him he was crazy and I wasn't pregnant! I was.
January 2009 NAL took a hard hit from the economy and Tyler was laid off.
July 2009 NAL offered Tyler a new job.
July 24th 2009, 2:15 p.m. William Alexander was born. Three days later Tyler started his new job on THIRD shift in Paris...(1 hour 1/2 drive one way). But we sure were thankful for the job!
November 2009 Tyler is offered a transfer to Salem NAL. Same job, same position less than half the drive!!! Thank you JESUS! We don't have to move, we aren't...ARE NOT having a baby and we have lived in this house just shy of two years!
Tyler is for sure the love of my life. In fact, I can't really remember what it feels like not to love him. We have had ups and downs and I'm sure we'll have more of both but through it all the past nine years have been the best of my life. He is my very best friend, he is the greatest dad to Lucy and Will and he is the most wonderful partner in this crazy life of ours!
