Benjamin's big day and suckers for all!!!

We've begun the one week countdown to the Allison/Czyzewski/Oestreich/Moore Family Vacation 2010. We are DETERMINED to make it to Gulf Shores, AL and enjoy our time together! We've heard so much talk about the conditions down there but we aren't going to cancel. I get updates from the resort we are staying at everyday. They send us pictures of the beaches and little notes about the progress of the clean-up. I'm excited and not one bit worried about whether or not this is going to be problematic...we are going to have a ball! I simply can't wait!

Speaking of having a ball this past weekend was my nephew Benjamin's THIRD birthday! Where is the time going...he got a four-wheeler for his birthday and he is out of his mind with pure joy! We got him a slip n slide and water guns...what boy doesn't love water guns? He enjoyed opening all of his gifts but the four wheeler is just about the most amazing thing he's ever seen! We had a great day. He's a good boy...we love ya Benny, happy third buddy!!!

Benjamin Joseph Czyzewski making his grand entrance!

Ben's first trip to Aunt Helen's house!

Ben welcoming home his little buddy (and cousin) Will last July.

The birthday boy today...what a handsome little guy!

In other news...

Lucy LOVES suckers and gets one every single day when she leaves Angie's (the sitter). The other day she took it upon her self to introduce Will to the overwhelming joy that comes from eating a dum-dum sucker. Angie had asked me if Will had ever had one and I told her no. Then Lucy walked right over to him, bent down and said, "Hi Will, do you want a sucker??? Huh?? Do ya?" Then shoved one right into his mouth...the damage was done...see below.

Will and his very first sucker! I think he's going to love them like his big sister. He was so hot when we got home that day by the time he finished his sucker he was drenched in sweat and sticky from head to toe!

Me and my #1 girl!

Lucy and Will love this kitchen and play for hours together! I'm so proud of them and I'm so thankful for my Mother in Law who purchased the kitchen! Thank you Nana J!!!!

He caught me.

That grin gets me every time!!!

Lucy is always cleaning everything...I think she may be more like her dad than first suspected!

Lately Lucy has been wanting to sleep on her floor. Sometimes we get the mattress out of her crib and put it on the floor and then sometimes she just curls up on the floor for her nap. SO... today we moved her to a "big girl bed." I can't believe it's time for BIG GIRL anything! She's still supposed to be my baby girl!

I can't get enough of those baby blue eyes...but his poor head, he fell on the bed box in the hallway! He's starting to look like his cousin Ben...I think Ben had a permanent bruise from age 1 until about a week ago. :)

Will finally starting to slow down...he's a momma's boy!
(and me soaked from giving them baths)

Lucy Lu after her bath...boy is she mess or WHAT!

My Mom was on a business trip last week so my Dad aka "Papaw" came over for supper...I don't know why he keeps telling everyone he's getting old...I can't remember the last time I got my 26 year old body down on the kitchen floor to play with Lucy and Will :) He's an amazing grandpa!
